Raid on Iwilet house uncovers native luxury operation
This morning Detective Kanpa and police raided a house at Iwilet suspected as a manufactory of awipes. Eleven sailors the Kiinuce Hou Olandine and Mokoli occupancy by natives and two men were found. Three hogsheads of awipes, one containing 72 gallons, were confiscated.

Chinese Opium Seizure at Quarantine Station
Acting Fort Surveyor Morton and customs staff under Deputy Collector-General Mettocker stopped a hawk load of Chinese just released from quarantine and searched their baggage.
