Letter from Weedon Expected by Secretary Coleman

A letter from Mr. Weedon is awaited by Secretary Coleman aboard the next steamer from the Coast. It will name the man proposed as assistant secretary to replace A. T. Brook. A Board of Directors meeting is set for next Monday evening to discuss reopening accusational clauses in September and an order for $250 worth of new books will be issued, adding to the growing library.

New York to San Francisco by Gasoline Automobile

John D. Davis and Louise Hitchcock Davis began a trip to San Francisco at 11 am in a compact gasoline automobile described as a road phaston like craft. The vehicle features bicycle-type wheels with steel spplies and pneumatic tires and a high cushioned back for comfort. They head via Harlem to Albany Buffalo Lake Erie Chicago and west toward Boulder Iola and the Rocky Mountains, with a convoy of autos following.

Bridegroom From Wahiawa Aims For Honolulu Wedding
