The vessel, built two years ago at Whatcom Washington, is four masted and carries 900 tons as the crew battled heavy wind and rain to reach port. Captain Bellewon, a known figure in this port, described it as the worst storm he ever faced under those conditions. The voyage had been slow but uneventful until the storm.
