Punchbow Lookout Plan Moves Forward in Honolulu
Honolulu Improvement Committee pushes a zigzag lookout path to Punchbowl Ridge starting at Alapai Street. Prison labor may build it with steps, benches and plantings of night blooming cereus and succulents to offer a grand view of Honolulu Harbor from the summit. Governor Carter and local leaders to discuss, with plans by Surveyor Wail and input from John Kidwell and Fred Waldron.
