Kennedy To Order New Honolulu Hilo Steamer

President A Kennedy of the Inter Island Steam Navigation Co travels to San Francisco to arrange a 1500 ton steamer to replace Kinau on the Hilo route. The ship will sail 15 knots, boast modern comforts, a hurricane deck, piano, dining setup, and elegant interiors, with a four to five week construction window and a target delivery by November.

Trans-Pacific Ocean Yacht Race to Honolulu Offered by Hawaii Yacht Club

Honolulu offers a $500 silver trophy for a San Francisco to Honolulu race with yachts under four feet deck length. Start is May 8 at 8 p.m. from Meigo’s wharf, finish at Diamond Head, Honolulu. Rules include one hour per foot time allowance and standard navigation rules.

Bar Association backs Judge Robinson reappointment

Writ of Habeas Corpus on Opium Law Constitutionality
