Over 10,000 dollars have been spent on new construction and 24,000 on Adams Lane building, with a total contract value over 80,000 for switchboard and automatic telephones.
A Matson Navigation steamer Wilhelmina ran aground on a mud bank near the Matson wharf in San Francisco yesterday afternoon. The vessel freed itself after a delay and resumed voyage toward Honolulu. no damage or serious delays were reported despite the grounding.
