Board of Health Awards Contracts Amid Leper Settlement Reports
The Board of Health awarded supply contracts after reviewing minutes and reports, and granted Dr. Tracy a medical license per the Medical Examiners. A circular from the Interior Department warned druggists about poisons. Leper settlement complaints were received, requesting hospital access, store items, tea and coffee exchanges, more supplies, a new deputy superintendent, and another physician, with referrals to Superintendent Reynolds and Dr. Oliver.
