Water Rates Due for Honolulu Water Works

Notice to water privilege holders and rate payers that rates for the term ending June 30 1898 are due at the Honolulu Water Works office on January 1 1898. A 10 percent penalty applies after fifteen days. unpaid by February 15 1898 may trigger suspension. Payments accepted at Kapuaiwa Building office. Andrew Brown Superintendent. Government claims deadline notice in Honolulu for 1897 accounts

The Minister of Finance requests all persons with claims against the Government to present them through the proper department no later than twelve o'clock noon on Saturday January 16, 1808. After that date the department books will be closed and accounts for the year ending December 31, 1897 must be finalized. Road Department items, including those from the Road Supervisor W H Cummings, must be presented by January 4. December 20, Var TAL.
