Charles H Ramsay Sues at Walk
Walluku, Dec 16. Charles H Ramsay killed himself after shooting a man in his shop on Market Street. Ramsay left home early, had a shave, then rushed into the shop with his coat under his arm. He shot a man, then killed himself to prevent others from hearing the pistol blast. The sheriff and coroner opened a inquest with a jury, Ramsay was confined briefly, released, then obtained another pistol and carried out his threat. His friends doubt he truly planned the act, though his mind was unsteady.
