Hack Driver Causes Injury To Soldier In City Collision

Parker, a Parker captain and member of Co F, First Colorado Volunteers, was struck by a fast taxi near Fort Street and Hotel, thrown to the ground with knee injuries and bruises. The hack driver was summoned after a police complaint but will face no action until Ward recovers. Garonne Arrives With 17 Passengers. Courthouse Bid Fails

Postmaster General Oat received a letter from Postmaster Severance of Hilo reporting a Garonne team arrived Saturday morning with 17 passengers. Contractors, a second time in a week, promise grand public works but the Kipabola courthouse and jail bid exceeded the appropriation by 250. The contract was not awarded.

Memorial for Honolulu Co G Private dies at 11

Sher Kotter Diva and John V. Springsteen both of private Co G N V died of pneumonia in hospital yesterday evening. He was 11 years old and the third member of Co G to die in Honolulu. The body will be sent home by E A Williams undertaker. Funeral services will be held at St Andrew's cathedral at 10 o'clock tomorrow.
