New York on August 31 reports that the Standard Oil Company of New Jersey is dissolved under Supreme Court mandate. Stock is apportioned to subsidiary companies which will operate independently.
The Bishop Insurance Agency, for Fidelity and Deposit Company of Maryland, will assume all bonding business in the territory from the Pacific Surety Company of San Francisco.
