Superintendent Buck of Government Electric Light Works reports a near miss when a pistol Buck laid down was picked up by his Japanese cook. The weapon fired, the bullet pierced the cook’s stomach, then ricocheted to Buck’s bed creating a battered razor strap and a surprising injury story.
