Honolulu business leaders favor the Waikiki hotel project by J B Koouse on the Peacock property. Architects Ripley and Dickey prepared revised grand plans with multiple cottages, a band pavilion, a pier, and a large bath house, totaling 87 rooms and about 40,000 dollars outlay. A liquor license remains pivotal to the venture, with supporters urging government approval to ensure financing and prompt opening by Hawaiian Tramways.

Court Crims Sees Siemann Plead Guilty to Assault

In District Court this morning Siemann pled guilty to assault with deadly weapon for an incident involving Mrs McGurn, while a previous assault case was nolled. Niemann, a National Guardsman, faced a reduced charge after prosecutors dropped murder intent. Sentencing pending. Four drunks paid fines and other cases postponed.
