Harbor 15 Adopts Rules for Coastwise Vessel Work Hours

Harbor 15 Masters of royal vessels and pilots associations adopt coastwise sailing rules effective July 1. The agreement, joined by the American Association of Marine and Pilots of Steam Vessels and Marine Engineers, sets workdays from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. with a one hour dinner, defines overtime for Sundays and holidays, and outlines watch arrangements in ports outside San Francisco.
