Suburbanites Urge Macadam Avenue Work By County Board
Oahu County Board of Supervisors met at 7 40 pm with G W Smith chairing. A large audience heard residents and clubs press for macadamizing the Waline road from Palolo to Kalmakau. Council members approved various police and health expenditures and considered repairs to the police station and a fent of July bills. The board debated road regulation and permits for digging up county roads, with County Attorney Douthitt confirming the board’s authority to require permits before disturbing streets.
