New York July 1 Robert Crooky 4 Co announced plans to build a refinery on the west shore of the Hui eon river near Grent's tomb with capacity about 500 barrels. The firm had imported foreign refined sugar but cut ties with American Sugar Refining Co. after price disputes. Holban represents Tate Sugar Refinery of Liverpool, a target refiner. Henry Oxnard of Am erican Beet Sugar Co said they operate twenty eight factories and will add ten more this year, affecting sugar prices in the West and East.
