Hendry appoints Winter as deputy US marshal

Frank J. Winter is named deputy United States marshal to replace resigning F C Handy. Winter, a long time Hilington community figure, previously worked as bookkeeper at Hillington and Co and later at Pacific Hardware Co. He served five years with Hilo Sugar Co and a year as collector of customs at Hilo under the Hawaiian Government, then a deputy collector under Federal authority. Currently he is local agent for Mutual Reserve Life Insurance Co of New York.
