The New Bank under P M Hatch and Ceoil Brown prepares incorporation papers to become the First National Bank of Haswall under territorial government. Five directors to be elected from local shareholders. Local stock subscription expected Monday or Tuesday with full uptake within forty eight hours. Local allotment set at three hundred thousand dollars of the million total.

Officer Toma Injured After Street Accident Near Neu Manns

Officer Toma suffered serious injuries when a horse drawn sulky tossed him from a vehicle on the road near Neu Manns while pursuing runaway Japanese laborers. He was treated by Red Cross doctors and Dr Garvin and taken to Queen's hospital in a patrol wagon. Rapid Transit Co directors plan another meeting to decide power and related matters.

Four Chinamen on Trial for Assault at Police Court

Witnesses for the complainant say dishes flew and a cut above the eye occurred, while the defendants deny the act and claim the native pursued payment issues. Judge Davidson presided.
