Telegraph dispatches report renewed Fenian activity and a large Memphis fire. A building collapsed in Louisville and an opera troupe suffered an accident while an Indian fight near Pine Bluff is noted.
In Indianapolis the Grand Lodge of Free Masons met at their Hall with large delegations and officers to be elected tomorrow. The Marion Criminal Court sits with Judge Chapman, while the Supreme Court handles dismissals and opinions. The House of Refuge Commissioners met without a decision on delegation and site inspections. Mile Vestvali with Lund and Caulfield will perform a grand concert at Morrison's Opera Hall Friday night.
A steam boiler exploded at a German bakery corner Morgan and Seventeenth Streets in St Louis this morning, instantly killing engineer David Jones. The storm and rough weather followed, with heavy rain and thunder across the city.

General Wells removal petitions in Washington and a Fe ni an raid in New York border tensions. A court session in New York discusses licensing powers and constitutionality as police commissioners case resumes.
A brick building at 1 tS occupied as a clothing store and gallery collapsed at twelve o clocks on Market Street. Three men dining nearby were buried in debris. one escaped with minor injuries while the others were drawn insensible and severely bruised, one with a leg amputated. The scene was in Louisville on May 28 as rubble blocked the street and rescuers worked amid the debris.
In Cincinnati dated May 7 an Western Agent of the Atlantic and Great Western Railroad died yesterday. A train on the Chicago and Great Eastern line carrying the Strakash Opera Troupe ran off the track near Logansport. Erin Rosa and several troupe members were bruised.
A morning blaze at the dry goods house of Greenwald and Lobe at the corner of Market and Main caused extensive damage. Losses: Greenwald and Lobe about 100000 with 650000 insurance, Kraus and Co about 20000 insured, Bingham Gallery 7000 uninsured. cause and responsible party under investigation.
