James Galvin was found guilty of murder in the first degree for killing policeman Fenton last Christmas in U S District Court. The defense argued the deceased failed to pay premiums for three quarters.

Third and 26 barrels of whisky plus other property are claimed by W. M. McMarchy of New Richmond Ohio. Defendants in each case demand a public trial. James T. Wanthington, former Revenue agent, informed the action. Total condemned value listed at 65 000.
