The Florida State JayCee Golf Tournament runs June 28 to 30 for players under 18 by August 15. Jointly sponsored by Eustis and Apopka Corona Reed Pine Meadows Golf Course. A $20 registration includes food and housing. Contact Dr. Jerry J. Wilkins for housing questions.

Earl LaRoe 75 died in Somerset Pennsylvania from injuries of an automobile wreck on June 1 while traveling with his wife on vacation. He leaves a wife Fern LaRoe of Eustis three sons Clarence Forest and Glen all of Eustis a daughter Ella Busby of Gainesville two sisters Ruby Laurence and Agnes Herberich both of Akron Ohio 14 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Zeller Kennedy Hamlin Funeral Home Eustis with Dr Walter Mertz officiating. Interment at Greenwood Cemetery Eustis.

Collectors urged turn in unused coins at local bank
