Florida Telephone President Max Wettstein outlined a Total Communications plan for Disney World in a Burbank briefing with Walt Disney Productions executives. The concept envisions an underground communications highway linking Disney World’s 27 000 acres and includes projected spending of about 70 million dollars over twelve years with 10 million by 1971 and 49 million by 1980.

Leniency urged for license plate groups during June and July
Rep W H Bill Reedy told the Cabinet in Tallahassee that leniency should apply to cars with license plates ending in 4 5 6 and 7 during auto inspections in June and July until county inspection stations are certified. He stressed newness of the program and proposed amending laws as needed to reduce highway crashes. A recent crash at Eustis Street and Orange Ave injured two drivers, with charges issued for failure to yield.
