Henry Kruse dies after long illness in Eustis
Henry A. Kruse 58, longtime Eustis resident, died at Waterman Memorial Hospital after a three month illness. Funeral services were held at William Zeller Funeral Home with Rev. M. H. Epperson officiating. Survived by wife Iva two daughters Aileen and Doris a brother A E Kruse and a sister Mrs R F Ewing. He came from Ohio in 1925 to work for Consolidated Packing Co. The family lived at 825 Citrus Avenue. He lost a leg to knee infection on May 11 and briefly recovered before a stomach disorder and transfusions led to his final illness.

Harry Rowell Dies Sudden in Umatilla Car Crash
Harry Hoag Rowell of Washington Avenue died suddenly June 7 while driving his car in Umatilla. Born September 26, 1886, in College Springs Iowa, he lived in Florida and New York with the Poweller company before returning to Florida. He was a member of South Church Congregational Utica New York and is survived by his widow Effie Morin Rowell and a daughter Mrs. Justin Wissick of Hamilton New York. two infant sons had died. Funeral Monday at 3 p.m. at Zeller Funeral Home Eustis with Rev. R. T. Caldwell officiating. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery. Pallbearers were nephews W Walton Hunter, Harry Feizin, Ray Brantley, James Hunter, Charles J. King, and Richard Hunter.
