The Eustis Street Department graded and patched streets with cold mix and clay and cut weeds off lots and parkways during May. It patched sidewalks on Grove Street and Prescott and Orange Ave. The department handled 378 loads of trash and 132 loads of garbage.

Eustis Fire Department Reports May Housing Inspections
Fire Chief Dick Shirk notes housing areas were inspected and upgraded to fire safety standards with many hours from regular and volunteer personnel. The department recharged extinguishers for Boy Scout Camp LaNoChe and donated 32 3 4 lb dry chemical extinguishers through EFD and Central Florida Fire Equipment Co.
