Eustis Cagers Open Season with Two Losses at St Cloud
Eustis High School varsity basketball opened the season with two losses last weekend. Lake Weir edged Eustis 45 to 40 as Reitz led with 22 for Lake Weir while Helms scored 14 for Eustis. Saturday Ocoee defeated Eustis 49 to 31 as Helms led with 10. JV also split, beating Lake Weir 45 to 41 in overtime before losing to Ocoee 33 to 48. Coach Gene Russell returns.
