Shell Interests Near California Oil Giants Deal

The San Francisco Chronicle reports the London Shell interests led by Sir Marcus Samuel have nearly completed a $50,000,000 deal to acquire Union Oil of California and the outputs of General Petroleum and Independent Oil Producers.
