Bankrupt Petition Filed by Eureka County Bank Stockholders
In a U S Circuit Court filing dated May 15 Oscar J. Smith his wife Minsle D Smith and W E Griffin seek voluntary insolvency. They are principal stockholders in the defunct Eureka County Bank. The move removes personal indebtedness if creditors do not object and if the petition is granted by Judge E S Farrington. This contrasts with a Reno Gazette claim that Smiths vow to repay all debts.
