Silver Advances To 53 3-8 In London And New York
Silver rose to 53 3-8 in London and New York with the price near the eight month high. The rise is linked to heavy exports to Europe for China and direct shipments to the Orient. China buys cotton goods and exports metals, creating demand for silver payments to the United States. Leading interests note strong demand from China but stay noncommittal on Indian silver.
