Dory Isaac Marriage Reported by Austin Reveille

Letter From Mr Anderson Addresses Health Board Clash

In a February 28, 1922 letter from San Francisco,J K Anderson criticizes Dr Brennen and the State Board of Health. He notes no reply to a February 6 communication and mocks the board's reach into government industries. Anderson asserts personal liberty to visit public institutions without the doctor’s consent and demands privacy from newspaper publicity.

Former Eurekaan Dies at Tonopah

A Tonopah dispatch reports the death of J. Bryne aged 50, a former Eureka resident. He died Monday evening from pneumonia after two weeks of illness and hospital care. Bryne had lived in Stockton Eureka Hamilton Tuscarora Goldfield Carson City and Tonopah. He had two daughters and was widowed twice.

Cooper's hard cattle trip from Eureka ends in heavy snow

Don L. Cooper of Winnemucca Meat Market returned from a cattle buying trip to Eureka by train and sleigh. Snow blocked his return as he rode horseback through distant herds, forcing a detour via Ely. Former Eurekan killed when stove explodes

Joseph O. Bennelli, a longtime Eurekan and notable Italian contributor to southern Nevada mining camps, died at his Millers home from a cooking stove explosion. A coroner's jury ruled death accidental or of unknown cause as the stove shattered the room and a fragment inflicted a fatal skull fracture.
