High Wool Prices Hint Marketing Shift for Woolgrowers

A. E. Kimball reports from Salt Lake City that about 6 million pounds of intermountain wool are contracted. Fine wool fetches two to three cents above last year while crossbreds rise two to five cents. Montana crossbreds traded as high as 31 cents with 30 cents offered for some western Wyoming clips. The National Wool Growers Association declines to advise selling. each sheepman must decide.
