The first installment of the Elko County library arrives for installation in the commissioners room under Judge Curler. About 3000 volumes were ordered and 1000 have arrived. 120 sectional cases line the east end as books will soon be arranged for public and court use, with no borrowing allowed.
A local fiscal session approves multiple appropriations for indigent relief and various named individuals and entities. The motion passes with a $25.00 relief grant to Mrs Standefer and three minor children, and the auditor is authorized to draw the warrant. The document records numerous names and sums approved by the meeting.
Wa. H. Store of Newark Valley Nevada publishes a notice by Wm. H. Smith that salt and saltpetre have been placed for stock on his range on the east side of the Diamond range from the summit between Al bert Man's and his range to Fairy Doll on the north. The area includes 11 canyons and 12 ridges running east and west with boundary stakes and flags marking the lines to within 200 yards of the mountain top. Notice dated April 90 1915.
