New Trial for Bronzo Affirmed by Nevada Supreme Court
The Nevada Supreme Court at Carson affirmed the judgment and order of the Eureka District Court in the Marti Bronan case. Bronan, an Italian, killed Chris Joriman about two years ago and was sentenced to 35 years in state prison by Judge Breen. The court rejected Bronan's arrest of judgment and new trial requests, finding no evidence supporting the grounds for an irregular grand jury. The decision, written by Judge Sweeney, upholds trial court action.
