Nevada News Briefs Report Train Scuffle Fatality and Crimes

A scuffle on a Western Pacific train west of Jungo left one assailant dead after two men attempted to rob white hoboes. N. M. Salisbury was killed while resting at Elko yards. Oscar Hudson, 16, was sentenced to life for murder in Gold Canyon. Post office changes include Winnemucca becoming a second class post office and added staff. An accident near Elko involved J. H. Carter and others on Southern Pacific tracks. A postal order rule was issued allowing cashing in any continental post office within 30 days, even across states.

Equality in Nevada land assessments stated by commission
