Wizard's Stick Finds Big Water Well in California
In Chico California on July 2 Charles Cofer of Tehama county promised a rich water find using his wizard-stick method at Frank Glenn's ranch across the Sacramento River west of Chico. A twelve inch bore now taps water just below the surface with a pump delivering about 2500 gallons a minute, as Glenn calls it the valley’s wonder and perhaps America's record well.
