Cattlemen’s Association to campaign in Nevada elections

Last of the Truck Drivers Lee Fickas Passes Through Hawthorne

Lee Fickas, last of six hauling crews bound for Hudson to Aurora, travels via Hawthorne with a five ton truck. He notes Hudson to Aurora road impassable for heavy freighting and plans to return next spring from Los Angeles to recover the vehicle. 250 to 300 tons of Aurora freight remain at Hudson, with some sent to Aurora by parcel post through Hawthorne.
