Eureka Mining News on ore shipments and new development
The Eureka mining section reports ongoing ore shipment delays and underground work halted at the Bureks and Palisade site due to failed care funding. Freight-rate increases by the Interstate Commerce Commission are aiding supply, while exploration at the Home Ticket and Prince claims reveals promising high silica gold silver ore with potential for larger bodies near limestone porphyry contacts. Plans for extensive underground development and a surface mill aim to lower costs, with future mining expected to focus on rich quartz porphyry zones and reworking existing ore-bearing limestone.
