Frank Rose was executed in Salt Lake City for multiple crimes, claiming fourteen years of robberies and murders. Dr Charlotte Blake Brown a leading Pacific Coast physician died in San Francisco last week after a second operation following apoplexy age 58 native of Philadelphia. She was cousin of Attorney E S Farrington of Elie. The water suit Merkley and Young versus Gilbert Henry of Elio was decided by Judge Brown in the District Court in favor of Merkley and Young. the decision enjoins Henry from tampering with the dams and ditches owned by Merkley and Young.
