New Deep Ore Strike Reported at Eureka Croesus Mine
Reports from the Catlin shaft on Prospect mountain indicate a new strike 500 feet below the 400 level in the Hamburg limestone belt. The ore, iron carbonate similar to Windfall deposits, is said to exceed 10 ounces of gold in value and signals deeper development with potential for broader exploration. Company officials restrict details to the New York office as ore quantities rise.
