Two Men Shot During Cedar Flat Ambush
Lee Iloaaltin and Frank Edminton were fired upon on a ridge above Cedar Flat while pursuing a supposedly enraged bear. Edminton fired first, hitting Iloasalton in the jaw and arm. Iloasalton fled to a logging camp for aid. a doctor arrived later and the wounded man was moved to a residence for care.
