Boy Killed by S P Gravel Train in Oregon City
Thirteen year old Ewatt Fisher, son of Mr and Mrs George Fisher, was fatally run over at the Southern Pacific gravel pit across the river Sunday afternoon. He died hours later at Eugene hospital after both legs were amputated above the knees. The boy, fond of machinery, had been watching a steam shovel and rode a water tank car when a coupling failed and a gravel car backed over him. Trainmen stopped the cars and Ewatt was taken home, then to hospital. Funeral set for tomorrow at 2 PM at the family home, interment in LO. OF cemetery. Rev J S Metallam to conduct services.

Freight wreck injures Greek boarders at Junction yards
