Oregon Securities Company Failure Cited as Poor Management
The Oregon Securities Company with about 50 claims and 1000 acres in Bohemia district, rich in gold, fails to profit due to inefficient management. Formed in 1902 by consolidating Helena No 1 and No 2, Musick, Champion and Broadway mines, it paid modest dividends before and after consolidation, then diverted revenues into development schemes without boosting output. A miner with a leadership role notes potential to extract more if managed differently.
