Blue River Mines to Begin Full Ore Extraction Feat
The Blue River Mines Company, taking over from the Gres Northern Development, will immediately begin cross-cut mining from near the mill on the mountain side to tap five veins. Ore will be gravitated directly to the reduction plant, replacing the overhead tramway. The mill has ten stamps and a power plant, with stoping to start once the cross-cut taps. On 160 acres of the Great Northern group, engineers estimate a million dollars in ore remains blocked out and visible. The ore, while low in value, is free milling and cyanide treatable, promising large, easily mined returns. The Blue River Gold Mines is incorporated at 250,000 dollars, expected to yield substantial dividends under promoter oversight.
