Progress of suit against Hon H R Kincaid

The Salem Statesman reports on the fight over fees alleged to total over 60 000 dollars that ex secretary of state H R Kincaid kept rather than turning over to the state while in office. Lawyers seek a continuance as the case heads toward trial next week. The state has already won a nearly 100 000 dollar judgment against former secretary of state Dunbar, now before the supreme court, raising expectations for decisions that could affect Kincaid’s case.
