The Four Pigeons and a Poaching Gone Wrong
A long tale set around Claybury and a Cauliflower public house recounts a wild night of shooting and a “club” of six men led by Bob Pretty. After a night of bets and boasts the group is repeatedly shot at and blamed, culminating in suspicion that Bob himself orchestrated the harm to claim money and clear his name.
