MISS LILLIAN CATON ATTAINS PROMINENCEAppears in Singing and DancingNumber in One of Loew’s New York TheatresMr. and Mrs. Joseph Caton. Miss Lillian Caton and Master Joseph Caton, Jr . returned Thursday to Brooklyn, N. Y., after a visit in this city, (heir former home, as guests of Mrs. Caton's sister, Mrs. Melvin Ferris, and mother, Mrs. Irving Brown of Park street.Miss Caton’s photos will appear on musical numbers featured by Curley” Adams, popular composer and publisher. Miss Caton, a pretty young j lady but 19 years of age, has quickly shown her ability in singing and dancing. having been promoted from the chorus to a singing and dancing specialty by herself. She has been appearing at Loew’s Theatre in New York for several months.The contract she recently signed with Mr. Adams is of interest, for such celebrities as Rudy Vallee, Sophie Tucker. Belle Baker and Ruth Etting have allowed the use of their photographs in the same manner. Miss Caton has been appearing at Loews with i Benny Davis, who wrote There Goes My Heart” and Chasing Rainbows.” Upon arriving in New York, Miss Caton will report to her booking agent, w ho has signed her to a Chicago thea-, ter for. an immediate appearance.
