Acting enthusiasts should mark their calendars for the New Starlight of Kern auditions!Joint auditions will be held for two starlight musicals on April 3 and 4 from 7 to 10 p.m. at the Bakersfield College Fine Arts 30, and on April 5 at 1 p.m. in the BC Indoor Theatre, according to Henry Hor-wege, director.This summer’s productions are “a Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum,” a zany comedy involving two Roman servants and “No, No, Nanette, ’ a nostalgic visit ta those happy-go-lucky twenties in a musical never performed before in Bakersfield.
