Tom Harbinson went to Taswell Monday to aid silos. Danl Bunk, formerly at Evansville asylum, visited home folks. Elle Taylor family of Huntingburg visited Babe Gerkins’s mother Saturday and Sunday. Opa Jones visited Alta King Saturday night. Mr Earl Pirs and Simon Dewitt visited Julian King and family Sunday. Babe Gerkins went to Huntingburg to visit her sister. Mrs Atkins was called away Saturday by the death of her brother.

The Ringling Brothers circus arrives Wednesday October 4 with afternoon and night shows. The program features Cinderella with over 1000 performers, 400 artists, and a star parade in the morning, bringing novel acts from Europe due to wartime engagements.
