Mrs. Houston Turley died at her English home on Wednesday morning August 28 after a year of illness from inflammation of the mouth and stomach. She was about 1? years old and survived by her husband and a brother and sister. She joined the Christian church at sixteen and was a faithful member. Funeral held Thursday at 1 pm at the English Christian church with Rev. Ira O Neal of Huntingburg delivering the sermon. Interment followed at Mt Sterling cemetery.

Wilhelmina Gruis Keim born November 6 1816 in Heilbronn Württemberg came to America, married Florentine Keim in Philadelphia in 1837, and moved to Harrison County Indiana in 1838. She outlived her husband who died in 1895 at age 82, left ten children two surviving, and died August 1907 aged 90. She valued faith and family, leaves Theodore Keim and Mrs Andler, six grandchildren and five great grandchildren. funeral conducted at Blue River Christian church. The Crawford County Treasurer invites sealed bids in English Indiana for Liberty Township bonds totaling 405 dollars and Whisky Run Township bonds totaling 250 dollars. Bonds numbered 1 through 20 mature in ten years with interest at 4.43 percent payable semi annually. Bids may cover all or each township separately and will be opened at 2 p.m. on September 16, 1907.
