A light rain refreshed Grantsburg on Sunday as residents traveled to English and locals attended a Union Chapel music party at N Rodger's. Social visits flourished with Miss Lucy Goodson visiting relatives in Mifflin and many townsfolk at churches, shopping trips, and gatherings through Monday.
The Supreme Court declares licensed druggists cannot be convicted of illegal sales of intoxicating liquor under the blind tiger act. It overrules a Clinton circuit court ruling convicting David W. Rigush and serving a jail term, noting the statute’s plain wording excludes druggists.
Indiana court declares the statute allowing instant proceedings by Justices of the Peace for habeas corpus cases unconstitutional. The decision concerns Thomas Connor at Central Hospital for the Insane, noting lack of required notice to the insane person and flaws that could enable unjust detention. Inquests and commitments followed under the same law in prior years.

Ethel and Grace Kimball of Milltown visit Jane Key. Commissioner J. W. Bird and D. L. Burton tour Whisky Run roads. Rev. and Mrs. E. Roberts depart for Vevay for a weeks visit. C. A. Jones and family attend Liberty View meeting and visit James Merryman family.
