English marshal shot. town seeks restraint and aid
William E. Cummins, English town marshal, was shot while attempting an arrest last Wednesday night. He was moved to St. Joseph Infirmary in Louisville for treatment and is improving after his father’s visit. A shooter remains at large. J Barns, arrested for carrying a concealed weapon, was fined and confined in the county jail.
